Urban Youth Initiative

The Urban Youth Initiative is a 501 (c) 3 organization committed to the educational enrichment and empowerment of middle school and high school aged youth residing in the immediate New York City area, through holistic measures. These measures include, but in no way are limited to, extra-curricular activities such as competitive sporting events and academic challenges. The Urban Youth Initiative recognizes that many NYC students require additional support to help them realize their full potential. UYI understands that Our children need structure; we are committed in doing our part to provide that.

 

Our organization need donations in order to continue spreading it’s mission to children of the Bronx, the first step of the plan to ultimately reach out to the other boroughs of New York. We aspire to reach as many children as possible. One may donate funds through our website. Don’t care to make a financial contribution? There are plenty of other ways to support our mission. We are in need of uniforms, books, coats, sports equipment, whatever could be spared with your generosity. Visit our donation page for more ways to help OUR youth.

 

Every school in the Bronx, and the rest of the boroughs for that matter, will not be able to eliminate all of the obstacles and distractions inhibiting some of their students from learning.
