Meet Our UYI Donors and Corporate Sponsors

Without the generous contributions and gifts from the organizations below, the mission of the UYI may not be realized! Please read the mission of our contributers and visit their website to show support. Thank you:

Mission:

The Yip Harburg Foundation is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to spread Yip Harburg’s artistic legacy, aimed at creating a world of “free and equal people.” We stand on the beliefs of social justice, equal educational opportunity and learning through musical theatre

Thanks to the kind contribution of the Yip Harburg Foundation, the Urban Youth Initiative will be able to purchase material necessary to successfully launch our Girl Coding Project. UYI will be able to move up the start date of the pilot program, which will be facilitated in J.H.S. 125, a Bronx Middle School. Please stay tuned for results of this very important initiative. The results are available to be viewed on our Results page.

The Urban Youth Initiative's PROJECT OLYMPIAD program has received a grant from USA Football; a grant that makes it possible to offer more opportunities for our participants to get involved in flag football. The UYI is incredibly humbled by the USA Football Organization's thoughtful contribution. Please show your support to this significant organization by visiting their website:
